By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Stokio is a cloud-based point of sale (POS) and inventory management platform. The Service includes product management, sales processing, inventory tracking, customer management, reporting, and related features as described on our website.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing to a paid plan:

Payments are made via bank transfer to the account designated by Stokio
Your subscription will be activated after payment confirmation is received
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law

We offer a 14-day free trial for new accounts. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial ends, your access may be limited.

5. Plan Limits and Changes

Each subscription plan includes specific limits on resources (stores, users, products, etc.) and access to features. You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing period unless otherwise stated.

6. Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the data you enter into the Service ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership over Your Data. You grant us a limited license to use, process, and store Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of Your Data. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, we are not liable for any loss of data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use the Service to transmit malicious software or harmful content

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Stokio and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
We may delete Your Data after a reasonable retention period (typically 30 days)
Outstanding fees remain payable

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stokio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
